Phil Donoghue, Australian television cameraman, was a magician with light and composition. I traveled with him in Sixty Minutes film crews for some sixteen years and counted him as one of my dearest friends for much longer. He died in Muswellbrook, NSW, Australia on February 22nd 2025 at the age of 80.

My friend, Mike Chirgwin, a brilliant film editor, died on August 20th 2024 at the age of 73. I delivered this eulogy at his farewell in the Blue Mountains of NSW Australia on August 29th 2024.

"After Mabo." Australians need to keep walking the path Eddie Mabo opened up until we arrive at genuine lands rights.
